Children

The vision for the Children’s Work is for children to engage with God by growing in their experience and knowledge of God, to establish relationships within the context of family, friendship, school and community and to be empowered in mission by sharing the word and love of God. Our aim is that the children develop a real depth in their relationship with God and that they learn to live as disciples and missionaries.

At St .Thomas’ we place a huge value on raising up the next generation. The Children’s Team aims to invest in all children so that they can learn about being ‘children of the King’.

We want to produce children with a rounded but radical faith. Relationship is key to all we do. For the children who have never met God we want them to meet Him and begin a relationship with Him. The aim for the children who already know God is to be drawn deeper in their relationship with Him and to grow as Christians.

The Children's Work of St. Thomas' Church falls into three sections:

Over the last few years, St Thomas' has developed a range of teaching and activity resources for use with under fives, children, youth and families within clusters, celebrations or church services.  Click here for information about resources
